JON WHITLEY
Owner Jon Whitley's affinity with firearms started when he was a child, hunting with his family. As an adult, his interest in firearms continued as he spent 21 years in the Military with 14 of those years leading a US Army Special Forces A-Team. After leaving the Green Berets, he spent 18 years volunteering with the Charleston County Sheriff's Department serving on the SWAT and Undercover Narcotics teams.

STEVE MRGAN
New to Coastal Firearms is Steve Mrgan. Steve spent his Army career between the Infantry and Special Forces. After leaving the Army, he taught at the Academi (formerly Black Water.) To keep his sniper skills sharp, Steve competes in 3-Gun Challenge competitions and Precision Rifle Series competitions. He brings considerable firearm knowledge and real world experience to Coastal Firearms as a Gunsmith and firearms Instructor.

OUR GOAL
In opening Coastal Firearms, Jon wanted to provide those interested in shooting sports or home defense with a wide range of firearms and accessories, as well as the guidance of a knowledgeable sales staff.
Although the entire sales staff has a thorough knowledge of firearms, the most defining characteristic of a Coastal Firearms experience is customer service. As the slogan states: We aim to please.
